Privacy Policy

Protein Tracker does not collect photos, does not track analytics, and does not register your device. All your nutritional data stays on your device.

1. Overview & Responsible Party

This privacy policy explains how the Protein Tracker app ("the app") handles personal data. The app is developed and published by:

2. Data Collected by the App

Protein Tracker does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Specifically:

All data you enter — food items, protein goals, and tracking history — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage and is never transmitted to any server.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google may collect device-related data to serve ads, including:

This data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Protein Tracker Pro is offered as a subscription through the platform from which you downloaded the app (Apple App Store or Google Play). Payment processing, management, renewal, and cancellation are handled exclusively by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective terms and privacy policies.

Protein Tracker itself does not receive any payment data (credit card number, Apple ID, Google account, etc.). Only one piece of information is stored locally on your device: whether an active Pro subscription exists, so that the corresponding features can be unlocked. This information is not transmitted to any external server.

5. Data Collected by Third-Party Platforms

Independent of the app itself, the platforms through which the app is distributed may collect certain data:

Apple App Store & iOS: Apple may collect crash reports, performance metrics, and diagnostic data as part of iOS system services and App Store analytics. This data is governed by Apple's privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy. You can control this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Google Play Store & Android: Google may collect app installation data, crash reports, and Android Vitals diagnostics (such as ANR and crash rates) through Google Play Services. This data is governed by Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Flutter Framework: Protein Tracker is built with Google's Flutter framework. The Flutter framework itself does not collect any user data. However, apps distributed through the App Store or Google Play are subject to the platform data collection described above.

6. Website Cookies

This website uses technically necessary session cookies exclusively to store your language preference. No personal data is collected, no tracking cookies are used, and no third-party cookies are set.

7. Data Deletion

All data stored by the app can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app from your device. No data remains on external servers as the app does not transmit any data.

8. Your Rights under GDPR

You have the right to request access to, rectification, erasure, or restriction of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability. You also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). To exercise your rights, contact: info@codrio.de

9. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL. Last updated: April 2025.
